“Why, For What” is a poem from my English Literacy round 1 (2019 – 2020). Base on the theme of “Refugees,” we studied a lot about: who is a refugee, why are they refugees, where do they come from, what are the reasons, etc. We have chosen a poem book called “Inside Out & Back Again” by Thanaha Lia to study deeper about a real-life refugee from Vietnam during the communist invasion time.
